An Invitation
This is an open call for models to participate in a photographic art project exploring themes related to experimental light and intention.
The work is surreal.
Directional.
Rooted in presence rather than performance.
About the Project
Legacy, Emotion, and Art Direction
This series is a proof of concept for a long-term vision:
a future studio designed in honor of ancient lighting.
Rather than relying on windows or artificial softness, this project explores how light can be shaped, reflected, interrupted, and held using simple materials, space, and time.
The resulting images will be part of a five-piece photographic series intended for large-format printing.
Meet The Artist
I'm a photographer and visual storyteller with a background in fine art portraiture and editorial work. My approach is gentle, intuitive, and artfully composed.
For four years, I photographed heirloom portraits at Jennifer Lindberg Studio, a nationally awarded black-and-white portrait studio in Texas. Now I bring that foundation into my own creative expression. Blending classical methods with bold creative projects.
The Portrait Experience
Selected models will take part in a calm, collaborative studio session.
The focus is not on posing, but on:
stillness
subtle movement
the relationship between body and light
Professional hair and makeup will be provided, with styling to support the themes of the work.
Sessions are unhurried and intentionally spacious.

Note: This page is a private gallery showcasing portrait work informed by my years working in a national portrait studio. Some images reflect collaborative work produced during that time, used here as part of my private client portfolio.
Why This Project Exists
This project exists because my relationship to photography has changed.
I came into this work through traditional fine art portraiture. I’ve been drawn to black and white, to structure, to simplicity. That chapter shaped how I see people and how I approach the act of photographing them.
But with time, my creative vision began to widen.
I became more interested in light feeling alive, in color as emotion, and in creating images that feel alive rather than composed.
This series is a reflection of that evolution.
A way of testing a future direction, and inviting others into it.
At its core, this work is about seeing people not as subjects to be captured, but as art in their own right.
